Turtle Soup May Mini Crop Challenge

Good Morning Scrappers,

It is May Mini Challenge time over at the Pond and this month we are showcasing Diecuts.

Now, if you are like me, when you see the word 'Diecut' you think of actual dies to run through your diecut machine - well, thats what I initially thought of - and to tell the truth I dont have that many, and those I do have I have never used, umm maa.  So I challenged myself to pull out the Cuttlebug, dust out the dies and see how I go.  I found some borders and ran them through the 'Bug and then sat and blankly looked at them - what was I going to do with them?  I'll freely admit I'm not much of a card maker so I decided to incorporate them on a layout.  Whilst I was fiddling with the layout I had a light bulb moment - diecuts are also those ephemera items, etc in  paper packs, kits and the like, d'oh.  Now that I 'discovered' that, I was set :)

Here is my layout combining both Spellbinders and MFT dies, and diecut border stickers from Kaisercraft Base Coat collection, along with some closeups
